Job Description
The FF&E expert will manage the design, selection, procurement, and installation of all furniture, fixtures, and equipment components for commercial, residential, or hospitality projects. The role involves collaborating suppliers, and project managers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining the aesthetic and functional goals of the project. In addition to be able to design furniture pieces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Design furniture pieces
- be able to choose and designt appropriate furniture, fixtures, and equipment based on the projectโs design concept.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Create detailed FF&E specifications and procurement documents.
- Ensure FF&E selections are compliant with client requirements, design standards, and building regulations.
- Manage the logistics, delivery, and installation of FF&E items, coordinating with contractors and other stakeholders.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all FF&E items meet design, functionality, and durability standards.
- Oversee the installation process and address any issues related to FF&E implementation.
- Prepare cost estimates, track expenditures, and monitor budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits to ensure FF&E installation meets design specifications and deadlines.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records of all FF&E items, including warranties and maintenance instructions.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience in FF&E procurement and project management, preferably within construction or interior design.
- Strong knowledge of furniture, fixtures, and equipment sourcing and installation processes.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, procurement software, and project management tools.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and budgeting skills.
- Ability to read and understand architectural plans and interior design specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and aesthetic sense.
- Skills:
